Abstract: The problem of aging population has become a social topic of general concern. The increase in the purchasing power of the aged population and the change in consumption concepts have given birth to a vigorousold-age consumer market. The rural tourism pension, as a new business form integrating the two major industries of rural tourism and pension, has an important role in alleviating the pressure of city pension, balancing the seasonal differences in rural tourism and the urban-rural economy. The development of rural tourism pension has promotion factors such as rural tourism product supply, pension market demand and policy support, but at the same time there are contradictions in the weak connection between supply and demand.Based on the analysis of the factors that promote the integration and the contradictions, this study puts forward the corresponding countermeasures from the aspects of the overall planning of rural functional areas, the supply-side reform of rural tourism products, and the reform of medical system, so as to promote the integrated development of rural tourism pension industry and realize the rural revitalization.
