Abstract: According to the field investigation, this study established a performance evaluation index system of village assistance in Awati county of Xinjiang, including 5 first level indicators and 24 second level indicators, and constructed a hierarchical structure model. By using the analytic hierarchy process, it was concluded that the weight of industrial assistance and employment assistance was the highest, which was the main factor to measure the performance of village assistance in Awati county of Xinjiang. Finally, the study put forward relevant suggestions from five aspects： Strengthening the implementation of policies, optimizing the accurate identification work, strengthening the joint force between industry and employment, maintaining the sustainability of the effect of village assistance, and improving the quality of the cadre team of village assistance.
