Abstract: A new pre-column derivatization and reversed high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) was used to detect 8 biogenic amines in 15 kinds of aquatic products.,8 biogenic amines could be separated by a new precolumn derivatization method. The results showed that in the range of 1.0 to 100 mg/L, 8 biogenic amines showed a good linear correlation(R2≥0.998), the detection limit and quantitative limit of the method were lower than that of the national standard method. The average recovery rate of the added standard was 90%~110%. The method was simple to operate, derivatives are stable, few impurity, accurate and reliable results, can be used to detect biological amines in fish and dried fish products.
